No unnecessary visits
If you think you have a problem, see what you believe to be evidence or actually sight a rodent, DONT PANIC OR WORRY! They might not even be on or in your property and could just be travelling from somewhere else to a food or water source.
Upon arrival I will undertake a site inspection to ascertain what the problem is, where it is, (if on your property), and discuss with you the best course of action.
There is no overnight fix to rodent or pest infestation. I will not just throw poison down and say it is sorted, take your money and disappear. Whatever is recommended will be fully explained, be done as safely as possible and hopefully without any undue disturbance to your daily living or running of your business. This may take a few visits, but will be done at the convenience of all.
Not as bad as it sounds. When the work is completed, I will remove all traps, bait stations, (if used), recommend any 'proofing', (seal up holes, remove rubbish, close gaps etc) and tell you the best way to reduce the likely hood of the infestation from reoccurring.
The most important aspect of a company is its image. Rodents not only spread diseases, cause damage and can destroy goods etc, they can also destroy reputations. Pest infestations can have a further negative impact on your business, including:
Keeping your external areas clear of rubbish, weeds and waste enhances your company image and improves your over all working environment, (who wants to walk past nettles, weeds, rat droppings, litter etc after parking up), plus reduces the likely hood of pest infestations. Removing harbourage, food and water sources, regular trapping and spraying, weeding and litter removal is all part of the service I offer.
The safety of you, your employees, property, myself as well as protecting the environment and wild life are paramount, as is your company's image. A full survey will be undertaken and will be discussed with you to ensure you are aware of the proposed plan, any issues and what should happen next.
Nothing ruins the look of a drive, footpath, hard landscaped area or a patio than weeds. Pop down to the local DIY store, buy weed killer off the shelf, go home and spray away. Job done? Possibly. A few weeks later some of your plants start to die, fish in your pond are going belly up or gasping for air, or an irate neighbour is moaning because their prize rose is dead!
Could this be down to the spray being carried by the wind because you held the container too high? Get sore knees or a bad back from crawling around?
I am LANTRA trained, a member of the National Register of Spray Operators, and qualified to City and Guilds standard in the application of pesticides using a hand held sprayer, both on land and on or near water. In other words, I know what to use, how to use it safely and minimise the risk of contaminating near by vegetation, water courses, (ponds, streams etc) and reduce the damage to pollinators and other forms of wild life.
From spot spraying your block paved foot path or drive, area application of large gravel or tarmac areas or killing off your old lawn prior to building a decked area, it will be carried out professionally and competently by myself using the correct application rate, approved pesticides and equipment.
For over the last two hundred years or so, we have been importing animals, fish, plants and insects. Some were brought in intentionally, (such as the Grey squirrel, American Mink, Muntjac, Japanese Hog Weed, Water Primrose and Rhododendron), as pets, because they looked attractive or for food production. Others, (Spanish Slug, Asian Hornet, Oak Processionary Moth), have entered the country via imported food stuffs from abroad that have not been properly checked or in goods that have been smuggled in. In most cases they are not a problem as they are not threatening our native wild life or are not a threat to us. However in the case of Rhododendron, (which outgrows native plants), or The Giant Hogweed, (sap is highly toxic and can cause blisters, which can return time and time again), to name just two they are slowly forcing out our native species which has a major impact on bio- diversity can damage buildings and also become a health hazard.
According to government figures, the resulting damage to our native wild life and countryside costs about £1.8bn a year, in trying to eradicate these non native species, which are also a danger to our health, can damage buildings and roads and destroy crops.
Part of the policy from Buckinghamshire Pest Control is to assist companies, local authorities and organisations in identifying, reporting and where possible removing these pests in an environmentally safe way as possible.
The reviews below for this pest control service are in date order, with the most recent at the top and was last updated on Thursday, the 13th of January 2022.
"They were very quick in getting back to us, on a Saturday. They identified the issue and gave us lots of advice to address it. Very good service. Can't recommend them highly enough."
Dave, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
"Andy was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to turn up promptly and at a time that suited us. He even provided a guarantee (which we didn't need to use!) with a no quibble promise to return and re-treat the wasps nest if it didn't work the first time. We'd definitely contact Andy again if we have any future unwelcome visitors!"
Olivia, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
"Andy responded very quickly to deal with a wasp nest. Offered to visit the
same day or next day to suit. Easy to contact. Friendly, very pleasant guy, nice
to speak to, knowledgeable, and good value for money. Would definitely use his
pest control services again, and will be recommending him to others. Thank you."
Steve, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
"I can't praise Andy enough. He was brilliant and gave a lot of time and
care for a very reasonable price.
Worried that I had a rat, and therefore possibly a nest in my garden or shed, I found Andy on the internet and phoned him immediately. Even though he was actually away on holiday he gave me time and advice that was instantly helpful. He came and inspected the site very thoroughly ,and laid some powder and traps which would show up whether anything was about. He returned a few days later and everything was clear. At my request for my peace of mind Andy secured some vulnerable spots in my shed with steel wire. He was meticulous, neat and committed to doing a good and environmentally safe job."
Elaine, Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
Hi Elaine, thank you for your review. It was a pleasure to
help you. Pest control is not just about poison and setting traps. It's
sometimes just denying rodents food, water or shelter can solve the issue. Glad you can now sit in that lovely garden with peace of mind.

to working out a mutual way forward in getting on top of the rat problem with
the neighbours without harming other animals or the environment in the process."

"We were very happy with the prompt call out and thorough examination of
the property. The repeat visits to monitor the pest control were also very
helpful and reassuring to ensure the pests would not return again soon.
Very good service at a fair price. Thoroughly recommended."
Alan, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
"Very honest, chatty and reliable. He explained what he did over the phone
when looking for mice and when he came to my home he talked through what he was
doing. Would call again if I needed to."
